Angie McIlroy-Wagar is a multifaceted circus aerialist and variety artist whose maverick style on the aerial hoop pushes the boundaries of her art form while honouring classic beauty, impeccable lines, and technical precision. The breathtaking Irish–Canadian performing artist mingles intricate aerial acrobatics with astonishing flexibility and campy theatricality. Beyond aerial hoop, Angie also performs aerial straps, contortion, and a bonkers ground act involving comedy, contortion, burlesque, and a two-metre tall balloon. (Seeing is believing!) A graduate of Montreal’s renowned École Nationale de Cirque, Angie has dazzled audiences across North America, Australia, and Europe, working with major companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Spiegelworld, Circus Roncalli, Strut & Fret, Les 7 Doigts, and many more. She’s also featured in television, film, and stage productions as not only an aerialist but also a creature actor and stunt person.
